Its been 26 years that I have been closely observing (and Part of) the Indian education system, and still a question is unanswered. When most exams which have a high positive perception value in India (namely IITJEE, CAT, IAS/IPS or UPSC related exams) lay a huge emphasis on Problem solving aspect. Why do coaching institutes do not make the students aware of this largely hidden aspect. To me, it seems similar to teaching reading a book without being aware of the language & grammar. Through this blog note, actually wanted to seek inputs (from any reader who spares the time for reading this). Please leave a note if you agree with this sentiment.
I see several thousand aspirants for JEE or UPSC, but this basic problem solving piece is something that I have never heard anyone talk about. Isn't it the most valuable aspect in education or in life generally ?
